[Natural playground] a tailor-made project at "Zoo de Jurques"
At Amazone Adventure, we're committed to creating unique, natural playgrounds that enchance the place that host them.
with this in mind, we recently had the pleasure of working with Zoo de Jurques, Normandie, to create a customized wooden playgrounds integrated into the heart oft the zoo.

This project was not simply “for” the zoo, but with it. It grew out of discussions with the zoo's teams, around a common desire: to improve the welcome for visitors and offer a new playful experience for families.
This collaborative approach resulted in an installation perfectly adapted to the needs of the site and its public.
Customized design
Each Amazone Adventure project is unique, tailor-made to meet customers' expectations and the specific requirements of the location.
Responsible and suitable to all ages
Combining our experience of outdoor activities with our customer's expertise, we designed an optimized natural playground that takes into account the constraints of the site (optimization of available space, proximity of enclosures, etc.) and the characteristics of future users.
We used Robinia, a naturally durable wood species, highly resistant to weathering and intensive use (low maintenance required), ideal for outdoor installation and environmentally friendly.
The proposed structures are accessible to children of all ages (from 3 years old upwards), with a variety of games adapted to different levels of motor skills and agility.
- For the little ones: a hut , a tunnel and balancing elements are installed at ground level.
- For older children: suspended walkways, climbing zones and modules, a slide and balance courses.
All of which stimulate curiosity and the desire to surpass oneself, in complete safety.
French production !
The design was carried out by our in-house design office using 3d modeling.
The modules are manufactured in our own workshops in France from materials selected for their quality and durability. This in-house manufacturing process guarantees quality control and on-time delivery.
Installation was carried out on site by our assembly team.
Why a natural playground at Zoo de Jurques ?
The installation of this playground is perfectly in line with the park's philosophy: to offer zoo visitors a complete, immersive experience, alternating moments of observation, discovery... and play!

- a high level of integration: the design of the structures, the organic shapes and natural colors, have been thought out to integrate harmoniously into the zoo's universe,
- a responsible and ecological approach, with the use of natural (untreated) and sustainable materials.
Safe, stress-free equipment
In line with our commitment to quality, the playground complies with the “Playground” safety standard (NF EN 1176-1), which governs the safety of public playgrounds. This compliance has been validated by an independent organization.
All modules are designed to allow free access to the ground without PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), guaranteeing a comfortable, stress-free experience for children.
The play modules and courses on offer stimulate endurance, balance and creativity, while ensuring optimum safety thanks to sturdy materials and thoughtful layout.
